Love yourself, darling

In the meantime, take some time out to LOVE YOURSELF with a few of these ideas:







Check out all of the "discount sites" (like WeeklyPlus) to find a discounted massage - treat yourself. 

- Again, check out the "discount sites" for hair cuts and color. Take some time for yourself and get your hair done.

- Get a manicure/pedicure with your mom/daughter/girlfriends (try out shellac nail polish, it stays for weeks!)

- Try a new exercise class. Ever tried Zumba? What about kickboxing? Ballet classes? 
Try some new exercise classes for some feel-good endorphins!

- Take a self-defense class. Bring your mother/daughter/girlfriends with you. What better way can you love yourself than by learning how to protect yourself!?

- Download a new I-tunes playlist and rock out while doing your daily routine.

- Find a new, feel-good book to read. 

- Drink more water.

- Look in the mirror and TELL YOURSELF that you love yourself everyday!


- Take a multivitamin

- Eat food full of protein. 

- Get a professional spray tan.

- Vow to not watch the news after noon for the next month (get the weather, etc. on the internet).

- Give yourself permission to say "no" to an unappealing invitation and stay in and veg for an evening.

- Write a letter to someone you love, telling them all the things you love about them. 

-Be grateful every day for the good things in your life. Make a gratitude list. 

- Keep a journal and make a decision to write in it daily. 

- Go to Lucile's Cafe for breakfast and get the beniets! You won't be sorry (calories don't count at breakfast)!

- Spend an extra minute brushing your teeth. 

- Go to a concert or go somewhere that has live music. Take it in!

- Take more pictures. 

- De-clutter your life - in every way. Get rid of negative people, clothes that no longer fit, stuff that is just taking up space. Clear it all out and make room for the new. 

- Plan your dream vacation. Even if you can't afford to go right now, plan what you want to do.

- For every negative thing you say (or think) about your body, say three positive things about your body.

- Promise to never talk poorly about your body in front of your daughter.
